We are reaching out to you today to ask for your support for our friend Haley, who is suffering from Immune Thrombocytopenia (ITP), a platelet disorder. Haley has been undergoing multiple different types of treatments for many months now. However, they have now diagnosed her as treatment resistant. The next step is a splenectomy which is scheduled to be done soon. However, she unfortunately also was diagnosed with COVID-19. This has delayed the surgery and extended her hospital stay. Her unwavering strength and resilience during this journey have been truly inspirational.

Why We Need Your Help:

While Haley is focused on her upcoming surgery and healing afterwards, the financial burdens of her medical treatments (some not covered by insurance), hospital stays, and recovery expenses continue to add up substantially. Haley is currently in the hospital out of work for the foreseeable future until healed from her surgery and cleared by her doctor.

Medical Expenses: Covering the costs of treatments, medications, and any additional care Haley may need during her recovery.

Household Expenses: As Haley is out of work, she is unable to pay her bills such as rent, utilities, phone, etc...
