Help Support Haleigh as She Fights Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia (APL)

Our daughter, Haleigh, is a vibrant, kind-hearted 22-year-old who recently received the life-changing diagnosis of Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia (APL).

She is now facing a long and challenging journey of treatment that includes a 4–6 week hospital stay followed by several months of intensive outpatient care.

Haleigh will be unable to work at all during the first 4-6 weeks of treatment, and likely only part-time during her outpatient infusion treatments once she is released from the hospital. We do not want her to worry about finances and try to focus all her energy on healing.

To make things even more complicated, Haleigh lives in South Carolina, while her immediate family is in Indiana. Not being physically close to her during this time is going to be difficult for all.

As much as we wish we could be there to support her for every moment, this is one tangible way we can support her from afar.

This GoFundMe is to help cover Haleigh’s monthly living expenses like rent, groceries, and other ongoing bills so she doesn’t have to worry about finances while fighting this battle.
