Support Hala's Journey to Become a Doctor in Gaza!
Donation protected
Hello! I am Elle Orum from California, and I am fundraising for Hala Hanouna, daughter of my dear friend Jamalat, to continue her studies after the war in Gaza and the occupation crushed her dreams to become a doctor to help her people. Her message can be read below:
Our lives are at risk, and with your support today, you can help save us from death. We are an ambitious family from Gaza facing the most difficult times, so please do not delay in offering your help ❤️ Here is our story:
After 14 months of war on Gaza and famine, I am asking for your support for my family who are currently trapped in the war-torn Gaza Strip. The ongoing conflict has destroyed our lives, our only source of income, our university, our schools and everything else, is at risk every second, and we face the constant threat of death. But we still have hope to rebuild our lives better, and with your help and donations we will be able to do so ❤️
My ambitious family consists of seven members, starting with my father, mother, four daughters and a son. We used to live our simple life full of achievements, happiness, goodness and helping others before the painful war, but we are still certain that it will return and better despite all the pain Let's start with my father, he is the main reason for all the successes we have achieved. My father spent 25 years of work and fatigue to build us a very large and beautiful house, but the barbaric occupation destroyed the house with great brutality and destroyed his dreams and hopes. Our only source of income, but the surprise is that my father tells you that he still has the most precious thing, which is hope and faith, and he will rebuild the house thanks to your support❤️
My mother was a mother to everyone in this war, we always remember her when we remember good people. She loved helping everyone, and despite our harsh conditions in the war, she was also trying to do good. She worked from the first day of the war as a psychologist trying to help children get rid of negative feelings and treat mentally ill people, and she is still going on, she loves her country very much and is steadfast until the end of the war❤️
As for me, Hala, a high school student, 18 years old, before the war I was the first in my school, yes I was very excellent throughout my life, I used to get the first place in my school, and when the important year came for me to take the high school exam, my family prepared a very big and beautiful room for me alone, where I arranged my books and belongings so that I could do what I could to become a doctor and help the people of Palestine. But unfortunately, the occupation destroyed our house and took our house with all its possessions. I lost all my books and belongings, and here the ministry issued a decision to hold the exams next February, and I do not find books, paper, or pens. Please help me so that I can take these exams and get a grade and study medicine at a university outside Gaza. Help me travel to achieve my dream and the dream of my family and help the people of Gaza who have begun to suffer from calamities and diseases. So please help me and my family to spread hope in the world
I will say words full of love to my only brother (Wassim) who was supposed to graduate from high school this year. We always sought to achieve our goals together, but the occupation destroyed all our dreams. But thanks to you and your help, we can continue our dreams, study at university, and serve the people of our city. We are still holding on to the dream.
In conclusion, every dollar counts, and your support will not only provide my family with a lifeline, but will also restore our hope for a brighter future. Your generosity is essential to our survival, and helps us achieve our dreams. By sharing our campaign, you are multiplying its impact and bringing us closer to overcoming these challenges✌
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for standing with us during this difficult journey and for believing in a better tomorrow
