Hair Aid has become such a big part of my heart. After doing several trips now, it really just solidifies how powerful this work truly is. It’s not just about cutting hair — it’s about teaching a skill that can literally help someone survive and thrive.

Being able to show someone how to cut hair means they now have a way to provide for themselves, their kids, and their family. That can turn into food on the table, fresh water to drink, and even fresh clothes to wear. And that… is life-changing.

It always humbles me because something that feels so natural to me as a hairstylist can become someone else’s opportunity, income, and independence. Hair really is more than beauty — it’s empowerment. ✂️
