Help Haimanot Tewhbo Access Life-Saving Brain Cancer Treatment Abroad

I am reaching out with an urgent plea for Haimanot Tewhbo, a brave woman battling brain cancer. Two years ago, Haimanot was diagnosed and began chemotherapy. For a time, she responded well and her condition stabilized. Unfortunately, over the past six months, her health has taken a devastating turn. She has been hospitalized again, suffering severe complications that left her unable to eat, drink, or even speak.

Her physicians at Addis Ababa University Black Lion Medical School have now strongly recommended that she be transferred abroad for advanced treatment — specifically to India, where specialists can provide care that is not available in Ethiopia.

The estimated cost of medical care, travel, and related expenses is over $45,000. This amount is far beyond what Haimanot and her family can afford. Without this support, she cannot access the treatment that could restore her health and quality of life.
