Support Hailie’s Fight Against Cancer

Donation protected
Hailie is my best friend. I've known her for many years, but we don't have many pictures taken. She doesn't like her picture taken a lot. She’s also a mom, a fighter, and one of the most selfless people I have ever known. And right now, she’s in the fight of her life: against aggressive cancer that has already begun to spread.

She’s at a critical point, and starting treatment quickly with some financial security could make all the difference. Being able to enter this next chapter without panic about money would give her the space to think clearly, to stay focused on healing, and to transition into care with a little more peace of mind.

Cancer does not wait. It does not pause for bills or meals or sleep. The world keeps spinning, and everything keeps coming. Rent, groceries, childcare, responsibilities — all of it continues, even when your body is shutting down. There is no break from life when cancer hits. Hailie is doing everything she can to stay afloat, but she’s tired. The weight is too heavy to carry alone.

This fundraiser is a way to give her space to breathe, to rest, and to focus fully on healing. Treatment is going to take everything she has physically and emotionally. She shouldn’t have to worry about rent or food or how to keep the lights on while her body is fighting for her life.

Healing is not linear. There will be moments when her pain eases and her energy returns. But just as quickly, those moments can disappear. The future is unpredictable, and so is recovery. That is why this fundraiser may grow with time. Rest, healing, and survival take resources we cannot always plan for. We want to give Hailie the freedom to rest without fear, even after treatment begins.

If you know Hailie, you already know her heart. She is present. She is gentle. She makes people feel safe. She listens when others speak and shows up when others are hurting. She brings light into every room, and she never stops giving, even when she has nothing left. Now it is our turn to give back to her. If anyone is deserving of a chance, it's her. She is one of the best people I know, and it is an honor and privilege to know her.

Your donation will help provide:

A safe place to live: rent, utilities, and housing support so there is no worry when it comes to living comfortably given what is happening

Groceries and daily needs: food, hygiene items, and essentials that make day-to-day life possible

Transportation to care: gas, rideshares, or flights so she can get to appointments and treatment centers

Medical costs: anything insurance does not fully cover, including medications, procedures, or supportive care

Time to rest and recover: support so Hailie does not have to rush back to work before her body is ready

Flexibility for the unexpected: because healing is unpredictable, and financial peace of mind means she can focus on fighting, healing, and resting

There are no perfect numbers or exact totals for what she may need, but this is a starting point. Every donation helps make the impossible a little more manageable. Even the smallest gift brings her one step closer to healing. The goal is starting small, but I hope to bring it up to $100k, to truly support her and her child with healing, having a safety net, and feeling financially stable while doing that.

If you are able to give, thank you. If you are not in a place to donate, sharing this campaign helps more than you know. Together, we can give Hailie the chance to fight with strength, safety, and dignity. She deserves that and so much more.
