My name is Hailey, and I am a dedicated full-time student at Stephen F. Austin State University. While I am currently unemployed, this has allowed me to focus entirely on my studies. However, during my Thanksgiving break, my life took an unexpected turn when I was rushed to the emergency room with severe abdominal pain. I was diagnosed with multiple kidney stones that I couldn’t pass naturally, leading to significant fluid accumulation and inflammation. To relieve the pressure, I underwent emergency surgery to have a stent implanted.

The doctors have informed me that another surgery is necessary in December to remove all the kidney stones. The cost of this surgery, after a discount, is going to be $12,00. Sadly, this amount does not include the first surgery or any of the other doctor bills we will be receiving. My mother is helping out everywhere that she can but unfortunately, the sudden onset of these medical issues has left us overwhelmed by the financial strain of the medical bills.
