We Need Your Help to Survive & Heal

Since January 2025, I’ve struggled with a disabling condition that makes it impossible for me to return to my office job at full capacity with USPS or qualify for any government aid. My husband, Dakota, works nonstop overtime, but we’re still months behind on bills, rent, medical treatments, and insurance appeals.

My chronic conditions emerged and quickly escalated in January 2025. Within weeks, I was no longer able to perform office work under any accommodations, and activities of daily living such as showering unassisted, cooking, and walking unassisted became difficult. Dakota and I just got married April 2024 and have been struggling together while just wanting to be healthy, young newlyweds.

During this time, we’ve had a difficult time with not only my own health declining, but having to constantly fight with Kaiser to receive proper treatment for my complex conditions or with USPS to accommodate me to return back to work under restrictions. We’ve gone into debt trying to manage our basic needs—covering rent, utilities, medications, and doctor visits. It’s become a cycle that makes each month harder than the last.
