Help Hai Represent Team Canada at the Deaflympics 2025!
Hello! My name is Hai Diec, and I was born into Deaf. Badminton has been a part of my life since I was young. My mom introduced me to badminton in Grade 5 and I have loved the sport ever since.
Now, I am incredibly proud to represent Team Canada (CDSA – Canada Deaf Sports Association) at the 2025 Deaflympics in Japan this November!
This is a dream come true, but also a big challenge.
Even though I’m currently dealing with a injured knee, I’m continuing therapy and training 2–3 times a week to stay strong and ready to compete with the best Deaf athletes from around the world.
Why I Need Your Help:
Being a Deaf athlete comes with unique challenges, including financial barriers. I’m raising funds to cover:
Badminton training fees
Hotel and accommodation costs
️ Meals and travel expenses
Therapy and injury care
Tournament related costs in Japan
Every Dollar Makes a Difference
Your support big or small helps me get one step closer to the Deaflympics stage. I’m committed to giving my all, not only for myself, but for Team Canada and the Deaf community I’m proud to represent.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Go Canada Go!
With gratitude,
Hai
