Hello everyone. I set this GoFundMe account to help out my nephew and his wife.

My niece Haevyn was taken to the hospital last night due to an uncontrollable nosebleed, and as you can see, she was trying to be the happy, sweet girl she is even in the hospital. Those who know Haevyn know she’s a character and a happy child. She wants to be the next Hagerman Cheerleader.

She had to be flown out to Lubbock and is currently in the children's hospital. Upon running tests, the results came back, and she was diagnosed with ITP. For those who do not know what ITP is, it is a rare autoimmune blood disorder. With this disease, you have a lower amount of platelets than normal in your blood. Platelets are blood cell fragments that help with blood clotting. Having fewer platelets can cause easy bruising, bleeding gums, and internal bleeding. ITP is caused by an immune reaction against your own platelets. This means that your body’s immune system attacks your platelets by mistake.

With her having to be in the hospital for a while till her levels are where they need to be, my nephew and his wife will be there in Lubbock. Medical bills, as well as hotels, can be pretty expensive around this area. We would greatly appreciate any help for them as they try and overcome this unexpected journey ahead.
