For our family, that moment came when our beautiful daughter was diagnosed with Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis (LCH)—a rare disorder that we had never even heard of before. What started as concerning symptoms quickly turned into a whirlwind of doctor visits, tests, and, ultimately, a diagnosis that no parent ever wants to hear.

LCH is unpredictable, and because it’s so rare, finding the right specialists and treatment has meant frequent travel to hospitals hours away from home. The medical expenses—specialist visits, treatments, medications, and hospital stays—have added up quickly, not to mention the costs of transportation, and time away from work. The emotional toll is heavy, but we are determined to fight for our daughter and give her the best possible care.

Through all of this, we have been overwhelmed by the love, support, and generosity of friends, family, and even kindhearted strangers who have come together to help us through this journey.
