Hello everyone I’m Hadens girlfriend Julia Masters. His brother Connor and I are looking to raise some money for Haden and his family. He was in an accident at the beach in Delaware on 7/27. He is currently hospitalized at Christiana Care Hospital in Newark Delaware.

Haden dove into a wave in the ocean and hit his head off the bottom. When he was pulled out of the water by lifeguards he had said he couldn’t feel or move anything. After he was taken to the hospital via helicopter and did some tests, they diagnosed him with multiple fractures in his c5 vertebrae, essentially breaking his neck. He was unable to feel or move his whole body other than his head. Haden had to undergo surgery to repair the injury. They took out the damaged bone and replaced it with permanent metal rods and plates. He was intubated for a few days following the surgery, but now has a trach that’s hooked up to a ventilator and a feeding tube. He is slowly making improvements with feeling, but still only able to move his arms and head, with some feeling and sensations in his upper body and abdomen. Once he is stable he will be transferred to a spinal cord injury rehabilitation facility to help him with regaining feeling and movement.

Me and his whole family would truly appreciate any donation for hotels, food, gas, medical bills and to get Haden back on his feet as he will be out of work and school for a long period of time. We are all praying for a full recovery for Haden! He has an amazing support system of family and friends that are here by his side.
