In 2017, Haddy’s life changed forever when she was diagnosed with blood cancer. What was initially thought to be one type turned out to be a more aggressive form after her first treatment failed due to a misdiagnosis. That moment began a long and difficult journey that has tested her physically, emotionally, and spiritually. In 2018, Haddy underwent a bone marrow transplant at Johns Hopkins Hospital. By the grace of God and the dedication of her doctors, she made it through one of the hardest battles of her life. She believed the worst was behind her. But two years later, she relapsed. In 2020, during the uncertainty of the pandemic, Haddy began a clinical trial at the National Institutes of Health. She held onto hope. For five years, she continued to fight with faith, strength, and gratitude for every day she was given. In 2025, during a routine annual visit at NIH, Haddy received devastating news once again — the cancer had returned, and this time it had changed into a different variation. Hearing the word “relapse” again was heartbreaking. Still, she refused to give up. Following NIH’s recommendation, Haddy began a newly approved treatment in October 2025 at Georgetown University Hospital. This is now her fourth treatment in seven years. Through it all, Haddy remains deeply grateful — to God for sustaining her, to her doctors for never giving up on her, to her daughter for making her feel like a SuperWoman, and to her family and friends for standing by her through thick and thin. But the financial burden of ongoing treatments, medical visits, medications, and daily living expenses during this long fight has been overwhelming. We are asking for your support as Haddy continues her journey toward healing. Every donation, every prayer, and every act of kindness helps lighten the weight of this battle and gives her strength to keep going. Our prayer is simple: lasting remission, no more relapses, and the chance for Haddy to live a healthy, peaceful life. Thank you for being part of her fight. Your support means more than words can express.
