Hello Haddonfield! I created this fundraiser because I was moved to help a young educator in our Haddonfield schools. A few weeks ago, this hard-working employee was trying to get to his job when a car hit him in a crosswalk in downtown Haddonfield. This Educational Aide was in the hospital for weeks and is finally recovering at home, but is unable to return to work just yet.

Prior to this tragic morning, I had heard so many positive stories about this particular educator. This aide worked in the classroom for not just the students that he was assigned to help, but ALL the children. This aide did more than his job description; he helped ALL the children in the class with both their academics and emotional health. Every student felt seen in his presence. You could spot this trusted educator in the hallway, pulling aside a student who was struggling or jumping into a class activity.

As a Haddonfield community, I KNOW we can come together to support this EA as he begins his road to recovery. Let's show him that we value what he brings to our school community and donate what you can while he gets back on his feet.
