We are the owners of Hackett's Orchard in South Hero, VT. Like many orchards and farms in Vermont, our Jamaican pickers (Mr. Keen and Mr. Watson) are still here — while their families back home are bracing for Hurricane Melissa.

They are a big reason that we can help feed our communities and are such an important part of the apple industry — we couldn’t do what we do without them and now it’s our turn to help them.

We’re collecting donations to support them and their families in Jamaica. The funds donated will go towards food and supplies to help them and their families rebuild what was lost.

Let’s show our Jamaican families that Vermont stands with them.
