I am Habiba Al-Mughrabi, a 14-year-old girl. I was born with Cystic Fibrosis, a chronic and life-threatening disease that has accompanied me since birth. My life depends on surgeries that I must undergo every six months just to be able to breathe normally.

But since the beginning of the war and the closure of the crossings, I have not been able to undergo any surgery, which has caused my health to deteriorate severely. Today, I suffer from complete nasal blockage and extreme difficulty in breathing. My immune system is also very weak, which makes my condition even more dangerous with any illness or infection.

I write these words with a heart full of sorrow, but my hope in God and in your merciful hearts is still alive. Your help is my only chance to travel and undergo the surgery that could save my life.
