The 6th Annual Online Fakapale for Ha'apai Student Scholarships continues to honor the legacy of Viliami and Luisa Kongaika. The 2024 fundraising campaign features their great-grandaughter, 15 year old Lily Kongaika, singing a Christ-centered Christmas song, "Do You Have Room?" SCHOLARSHIP OVERVIEW: Any student at Koulo Middle School may apply. Scholarships cover Koulo Middle School tuition and supplies for one school year (Jan-Dec). Additional funding will sustain the scholarship fund and allow more deserving Ha'apai students to receive scholarships in the future.
Viliami and Luisa were the parents of 9 children. They loved serving missions for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Today, their descendants honor their legacy of faith and deep love for Ha’apai through this scholarship fund for Ha’apai middle school students.
Donations are NOT tax-deductible, as this fundraiser is based in the United States and the beneficiaries are in Tonga. DONATIONS MADE THROUGH GOFUNDME INCUR A 2.9% + .30 USD FEE PER DONATION TO COVER THEIR HOSTING & PROCESSING FEES.
