Hello everyone,

This Saturday my brother suffered a catastrophic football injury that has sadly ended his football career. After hospital scans and examinations, doctors confirmed he has snapped his ankle, torn ligaments and dislocated it. Which means this following week he’s undergoing a major surgery to fully re-construct his ankle/foot with metal plates and screws. They described it as a very severe injury that will have a major impact on his life moving forward.

He’s facing a long recovery, will be unable to work for at least 4 months, doctors have explained that he’ll likely suffer from chronic arthritis in his foot following the injury.

I’ve set this page up to help support him with day-to-day living costs while he recovers and adjusts to life after this injury, and also the loss of income while he’s off work.
