Hello, my name is Gwendolyn and early in 2025, my employer abandoned me in my time of need when I was suffering from terrible, depressive mood swings and restlessness from a bad interaction with medication I had been taking due to a previous medical crisis. They terminated me over the phone after I had used my rightfully earned PTO to take days off until I could meet with my doctor again to cancel and switch medications.

Thanks to this abandonment, I was left uninsured while I continued to receive necessary healthcare, which racked up a substantial bill that I don't have the funds to pay and is cutting into the money that I would otherwise use to feed myself or my dog. I have already sold off computer parts, my hobby telescope, a large portion of my books, and electronics, but the additional income from those is not enough to alleviate the costs.
