Hi, I am reaching out to share the urgent and sad story of my dear childhood friend, Gvantsa, a 35-year-old sociologist and social researcher from Georgia.

Gvantsa is a loving wife and the devoted mother of a beautiful 7-year-old daughter. Tragically, she has been diagnosed with a brain tumor and is in urgent need of medical surgery and subsequent treatments, including radiation therapy.

Unfortunately, the healthcare system in Georgia does not provide the necessary financial support for her condition. Both public healthcare and private insurance are not sufficient to cover the costs of her life-saving surgery and treatment. With no viable options available in her home country, Gvantsa must travel to Turkey to receive the critical medical care she needs. This journey and the associated medical expenses are overwhelming for Gvantsa and her family, facing significant financial strain to cover the costs of surgery, radiation therapy, and recovery far from home.
