Support Guy Huskins' Flood Relief Efforts South Toe NC

My name is Jacob Shaw and I’m raising money for my Cousin heading to South Toe North Carolina (NC). Our family farm is located 134 Blazer Path Burnsville NC, and they got hit hard by the flooding and many homes and businesses were destroyed from the record rainfall and high winds. Many roads are impassible, trees are down everywhere, power is out in many parts of NC and phones are still down as of 9/29/24. We don’t really know how bad it is since we haven’t been able to contact anyone in the area other than South Toe Fire & Rescue through Facebook. Good news is we’re told our 95 year old grandfather and Uncle are ok and accounted for but not much more than that. My cousin is taking a truck and a small crew to attempt to make it over the black mountain high roads since many bridges are washed out. It may be impossible to make it to 7 Mile ridge rd in Celo, but they are going to try! They are loaded up with medium size mini skid steer, chainsaws, chains, emergency food, water, generators, and as much fuel as they can carry. I’m asking for prayers for the community of Burnsville and all others affected by storms, but I’m also asking for any donation you are willing to make towards this relief effort. We have made contact with South Toe Fire & Rescue and they said come if able! Any money donated will go to my Cousin Guy Huskins and his efforts in South Toe North Carolina, and the rest donated over and above their immediate needs will go to South Toe Fire & Rescue.
