Support Gus's Recovery from Palisades Fire

My name is Matt Smith from Manhattan Beach, CA. My friend Gustavo Castillo needs our help. (He’s actually more brother than friend.) He lost his home and all his possessions in the Palisades fire.

A native of Pacific Palisades, Gus was one of the first people I met at UCLA. He introduced me to “the Palisades” and pick-up basketball games at Corpus Christi School. In 2017, he became our Winslow’s Godfather.

Gus’ father and brother also lost their homes in this fire. Corpus Christi is gone too. I can’t begin to imagine the stress.

There is a long road to full recovery and it starts today. We can’t replace the home or the valued possessions, but we can reduce the stress and start the recovery process on the right foot. The funds will be used to for whatever Gus decides he or his community needs.
