Gus Beaudoin, a beloved friend, brother, cousin, and bandmate, was a San Diego native and one of the city's finest bassists. He began playing live at the age of 14 and became a core member of the award-winning local Pink Floyd tribute band, Pink Froyd. Later, the band evolved into the Pink Floyd Experience, touring North America for 15 years and thrilling fans with Gus's instrumental prowess. Unfortunately, after years on the road, Gus faced a series of health setbacks that led to a deteriorating quality of life. Despite these challenges, Gus and his wife, Vonnie, continued to push through until his heart stopped during routine dialysis. After nearly two weeks of hardship, Gus passed away peacefully, leaving his family and friends in deep sorrow.

Gus's family is now facing the daunting task of covering his funeral expenses. His sister and wife are unable to financially cover the expenses, leaving them overwhelmed by the situation. The family is seeking to cover cremation services, obtain two copies of his death certificate, and manage any additional body transport or storage expenses. Before turning to the county for assistance, they hope to provide Gus with the dignity he deserves through this fundraiser.
