Please help support Gunner & His Family During an Unexpected Hospital Stay. This family needs the support as there child is suffering and there whole world was turned upside down. As I watched him suffering over and over, my heart hurt so bad for this sweet boy knowing he is in so much pain, I knew I wanted to do something to help there family take at least some burden off them. Gunner (8 years old) has been hospitalized since Monday after the sudden onset of a serious and frightening neurological illness. What began as severe headaches quickly progressed to vision changes and difficulty walking. An initial emergency room visit turned into a prolonged hospital stay filled with extensive testing, treatment, and ongoing uncertainty. While many serious conditions have thankfully been ruled out, the situation remains stressful, exhausting, and emotionally overwhelming for the entire family.

Gunner’s mom has remained at his bedside around the clock, advocating for him and providing comfort through every test and long night. His dad, Tim, has been doing everything he can to be present while also trying to keep working. Tim has been staying overnight at the hospital, going directly to work during the day, and returning again each evening to be with Gunner. Balancing work, hospital life, and worry for his family has created significant financial and emotional strain.

At home, Gunner’s brother, Remington AKA Remi (10 years old) is navigating major disruptions to his routine while carrying the emotional weight of missing his brother and mom. He is doing his best to stay focused on school while staying with family members who are stepping in to provide stability. Remington is currently being cared for by Hommie Ginger and other grandparents, who are making sure he gets to school, feels supported, and maintains as much normalcy as possible during this difficult time.

Gunner has a huge heart and a deep love for animals. His dog, Blaze, is being cared for by Hommie Ginger, while a close family friend, Liz, has generously stepped in to help feed and care for the other animals at the home. These acts of kindness have been invaluable as the family focuses on Gunner’s health.
