Support Gunnar Matthews and the Matthews Family

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,

We are reaching out with heavy hearts and hopeful spirits to share the story of Gunnar Matthews, the son of Christine and Nick Matthews and brother of Gus Matthews, who is battling for his life after a traumatic car accident.

On May 17th, Gunnar Matthews and his friend were in a serious car accident in Mio, MI. Gunnar was life flighted to Traverse City Munson with severe head trauma. He has multiple skull and facial fractures, he is intubated and sedated, and he is being monitored for the swelling in his brain. Gunnar is fighting for his life.

We are asking for donations for the Matthews family to help cover medical expenses and living expenses as they face this terrible tragedy. Christine and Nick will be displaced from their home for the duration of Gunnar's hospitalization.
