Support Gumbo's Tumor Removal Surgery

Hello! My name is Gumbo, I'm a four and a half year old house cat. My mom (an adult man named Chris) found me and my sister Jambalaya in his neighbor's garbage during the COVID-19 pandemic and we've lived with him ever since. My hobbies include kibble, screaming, and "Big Man Time" (laying across my mom's stomach while he is sitting such that he has no choice but to pet me and tell me how great I am).
Earlier this year, in a misguided attempt to repay my mom for the love he's given me over the years, I decided to make a non-cancerous, pedunculated tumor in my abdomen without telling anybody. Unfortunately the jig is up, and now we need to pay the vet (my sworn rival) for an exploratory surgery to remove all of my hard work. The tumor isn't cancerous, but it is large and likely growing, and will likely cause me great suffering and an early end if it is not removed. Being able to live out the full breadth of my remaining years serves the dual purpose of keeping my mom in happy companionship while also giving me ample time to engage my aforementioned hobbies.
We are already financed for a considerable portion of the costs of the surgery, but my insurance has bafflingly deemed that my guts are outside the terms of my policy. As such, my mom is currently working on finding a way to pay the remaining balance of the surgery (an issue, as this is distracting him from basking in my corpulent perfection).
Any small amount you would be willing to give me will go towards paying the remaining balance with the vet while keeping a roof over my big empty head as we navigate the payment plan in the coming months.
On behalf of me (Gumbo) and my mom (Chris), thank you for whatever you are willing to provide. Be it money, support, or just a kind word, we love and appreciate anyone willing to help us out in our time of need.
Thank you.
