Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un (To Allah we belong, and to Him we return).

With heavy hearts, we share the tragic passing of our beloved Guled Mahamoud Hussein, a devoted son, brother, and father of three. Formerly a resident of the San Diego community, Guled lost his life in Somalia due to a devastating bombing. He was a kind and caring soul who always put his family first.

He leaves behind his wife and three young children, who are now facing immense hardship. As a community—both here in San Diego and beyond—we come together to support them in their time of need. We kindly ask for your duas (prayers) and financial assistance to help provide for his family and contribute to sadaqah jariyah (ongoing charity) in his name.

Guled passed away in this blessed month of Ramadan, and we pray that Allah accepts him as a martyr, grants him infinite mercy, and blesses his family with sabr jameel (beautiful patience) and ease.
