Help Fund Guest Cat's Surgery and Medical Care!
This sweet male kitty needs to get neutered! Can you please help us?
This precious kitty was found trapped and terrified, cold, wet, and trembling. After just a few days of being in a safe, warm, loving home, he is more confident than ever and is ruling the household!
It was almost a year since my precious heart cat had passed away. I was missing him terribly that day. I had just come out of the stairwell, into the underground garage, and there, huddled against the wall, trying to disappear into nothingness, was this precious little cat. I literally dropped what I was holding, motioned to my friend to be quiet, and slowly crept toward the shrinking gray ball. When I sat beside him, he buried his head in my hand. Then it was like he was trying to stuff his whole body into my hand. I took a breath, and, feeling brave, swiftly pulled the animal into my lap and tucked him into my coat, curling my body around his. I held him until his racing heart slowed to a normal pace. His trembling stopped. His breathing evened out. He relaxed into my arms. It's been ten million headbutts since then. He's louder and wilder by the day.
Despite extensive searching, we have not been able to find the family for this lost soul. (In fact, this kitty claims that this is his house and he's never lived anywhere else before!)
The only leads we have discovered come from a shop clerk several blocks down the road, who accuses this sweet boy of being a local stray and the father to a pack of beautiful wild babies (which were recently captured).
Guest Cat's testosterone-driven behaviors are becoming more aggressive and unsustainable, and put the resident senior cat in danger.
In addition to your considerate donations, we are asking for name suggestions for this kitty! What do you think his name might be?
Your donations go toward the following:
- Medical Exam
- Neuter Surgery
- Pain medications
- Necessary Vaccines
- De-wormer
- FIV/FeLV testing
- Microchip
- Any extras go to items such as litter, food, toys
If any additional medical needs arise as a result of his exam, we will update!
The GOAL for this boy is to:
Integrate into his rescuer's household if possible, as trust and comfort have been established.
If this is not possible, he will be safely re-homed.
No matter what, this animal is safe and will not be released outdoors!
