Hello,

My name is Kayli Webb, a close friend of the Moreno family. In 2003, I met their youngest daughter Rossana (Rossy) in junior high choir class. We became instant friends, and a bond was formed that lasted beyond high school and into our adult years. Devastatingly, we lost Rossy in a car accident December 17, 2024.

The Morenos are family to me. Guadalupe’s pupusas and guacamole introduced me to a world of deliciousness, almost as amazing as hearing her say, “Kayli, my friend!” I could never thank her enough! Roberto always had eyes that opened wide and a warm giant smile that would brighten the gloomiest mood as I heard, “Kayli!”

Grievously, Roberto passed away on August 21, 2025, after battling Alzheimer’s. He was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in the summer of 2023 and had progressively seen more and more memory loss. Rossy's death in December 2024 made him dissociate even more. He started declining more at the beginning of summer, and then everything happened fast after that. His beautiful wife, Guadalupe, is now left with picking up the pieces and dealing with the hardships that come with unexpected losses like these.
