Support GSE Robotics Team at World Championships!

Please consider supporting the Glen Springs Elementary School’s ROBOTICS team, Eolaithe Óga, who have qualified for the VEX IQ World Championships this year! This is the first time a GSE ROBOTICS team has made it to Worlds and it is sure to be a wonderful experience and opportunity for the school, the club and the students.

The two fifth grade students who qualified, Sophia von Meding and Aki Kory, have worked incredibly hard to design, build, code and practice driving their robot. Aki, who impressed with calm driving under pressure at the State Championships, can’t wait to participate in his first Worlds Competition. Sophia, the lead engineer and coder on the bot has a goal of finishing as one of the top 100 elementary teams in the world.

Sophia and Aki picked up robotics only this year and have been learning fast. The are excited to finish the season strong and move on to middle school robotics next year!

We would appreciate any assistance to cover the costs of competing from May 10-12 in Dallas Texas! Any unspent funds will go towards GSE ROBOTICS club next year.
