Support Grupo Folklórico de UCLA’s 59th Annual Fiesta Mexicana!
For nearly six decades, Grupo Folklórico de UCLA has brought the vibrant traditions of Mexican music and dance to life through our annual Fiesta Mexicana: Ecos de Nuestros Pueblos — a celebration of culture, community, and legacy.
Founded in 1966 by Emilio Pulido-Huizar, our student-run organization proudly offers free cultural showcases to the Los Angeles community. Our mission is to promote cultural awareness and inspire local youth to embrace their roots and pursue higher education through the arts.
This year, we are excited to present our 59th annual showcase, featuring over 100 performers, including Mariachi de Uclatlán, Ballet Folklórico de Son de la Palma from Palms Middle School, and Grupo Folklórico de UCLA. Together, we bring to the stage a powerful celebration of Mexican heritage, told through music, dance, and the stories passed down through generations.
We are asking for your support to help make this event possible. Your donation will go directly toward covering the costs of costumes, venue rental, and equipment support for our guest performers. With your help, we can continue to offer this showcase free to the public and preserve the cultural traditions that uplift and unite our community.
Join us in celebrating the beauty of Mexican culture and the power of tradition. Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference. See you at the celebration and thank you so much for your contribution! ¡Nos vemos en la fiesta, y muchas gracias por tu apoyo!
