6 months. That’s the amount of time since a minor leaguer saw a paycheck from their organization. To say we have grinded is an understatement. From the extensive private lessons with 12 year olds who’d rather be eating ice cream than hitting balls off of a tee, to the reoccurring gym membership payments, we cannot survive alone financially given the current situation our country is going through. Not having any idea of how long this hiatus could go, we have no idea how to apply for employment. Do we try to secure a job in the workforce or do we diversify our skillset as a Uber/Postmates driver? Either way, we will need some help surviving through this break. We are grateful for any donation you have and are even more thankful for sharing this and raising awareness towards supporting Minor Leaguers across this country during this difficult time. Thank you.
