In early 2026 Wayne State University Press will be publishing my book The Political Theologies of Populism: the Religious Worlds of the Industrial Workers of the World, the Ku Klux Klan, and the Universal Negro Improvement Association. Like a number of academic publishers, they require authors to pay for the rights of the illustrations. They also require authors to pay for indexing. The combined cost for both is approximately $3,000. I don’t have access to subvention funds and will need to pay for these costs myself. I am hoping that this fundraiser will help. All donors will be recognized in the Acknowledgements.
