Support Grizzly's Knee Surgery and Recovery

Hello, my name is Brent and I'm looking to raise funds for my 11 year old German shepherd/chow chow-mix Grizzly!

For the past couple weeks she has developed an extremely bad limp and can not put any weight onto her left leg. She is in obvious pain and discomfort and has a lot of trouble getting about.

I took her to the vet and with an examination and X-ray, was told that she has a torn ligament in her back left knee that would require surgery to rectify. Without the surgery, the knee will not heal properly and she would possibly develop severe arthritis later on in life. She had this same thing happen a few years ago with her right leg as well, but unfortunately, the facility that performed her surgery last time no longer handles this specific type of surgery any longer.

The vet has given me alternative local recommendations for surgical care and after calling around, the average cost of this surgery is going to be between 6K to 8K in cost.

The funds I'm looking to raise would help pay for her surgery. Anything that goes past goal would go towards doggy care (ie. dog food, supplements) and any additional medical costs that could come about. I am extremely grateful to anyone that is able to help out or even share this with others.

My sweet girl has a very relaxed, easy-going life (something she takes full advantage of) and I hope that she'll continue to be just as happy once she's feeling better from her surgery. Thank you so much for your time!
