Support Grisham Middle School Honors Band

Dear Family and Friends
This year Grisham Middle School Honors Band, was chosen to perform at the prestigious international band and orchestra conference, The Midwest Clinic, in Chicago, Illinois

The Grisham Honors Band is made up of 57 students, and we were 1 of 4 middle school bands out of 300 applicants to receive this honor.
We are so excited to travel with the bandmates from December 18th – December 22nd to see the amazing sights and sounds that the conference and Chicago have to offer!
As you might guess, a trip like this requires a substantial amount of funds. Besides each band family raising $1,400 for their student to attend, our band must raise an additional $10,000 for other expenses.
This general fund will pay for the concert programs and invitations, a truck that will be driving the larger instruments to Chicago, clinicians helping us to prepare our music, a photographer and the proper badges required to attend the conference.
Would you please help us by giving to the general fund needed for the band to attend The Midwest Clinic? All contributions are appreciated and will bring the GMS Honors Band closer to Chicago! If you can give, please contribute by October 31st.
