Hello everyone!

I hope you’re doing well. My name is Grisaudy, you guys may know me as Gri! I’m a student at UMass Boston, currently in my junior year. I took the previous spring semester off due to the same financial struggles, but I was able to take some time off and save some money to return this fall and continue working toward my degree. Unfortunately, due to recent government issues, my financial aid was reduced, and I’m now facing a tuition balance I can’t cover on my own. 

My tuition bill for next semester is expected to be around $7,000–$8,000, and I’m hoping to raise $5,000 through this GoFundMe to help me stay enrolled and continue my education in the spring so that I don’t have to take yet another semester off. 

School has been such an important part of my journey, and I’ve been lucky to have a supportive community of friends, mentors, and teachers, and a work community who believe in me. I will like to say that any contribution, any type of verbal share & support, no matter how small or big would be more than appreciated. And if you can’t donate, sharing this campaign would help more than you know!!
