Emily and I first met in 2019, when I first moved to Malawi as a Peace Corps volunteer. Little did I know, my neighbor would become my Chichewa tutor, then my best friend, and now my dear sister.

I had the incredible honor of naming Emily's third child when he came into this world in 2024, and Griffin has been loving and playing through every minute of life ever since.

My sweet, adventurous nephew was recently diagnosed with a heart valve issue, one that requires surgery to repair. He is a sweet young boy who deserves to live an incredible, amazing life, to grow up and play football (soccer) with his brothers. He deserves a chance to live a full life.

All money donated will be given directly to his mother to pay for his urgent surgery.
