Hi friends, family, and kind supporters, My name is Kim, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my dear friend Gretchen, who is facing one of the toughest battles of her life. Just three weeks ago, Gretchen suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm that led to a major stroke. As a dedicated LPN who has spent her entire career caring for others, it’s heartbreaking to see her now in need of that same level of care and support. She has always been the one stepping up for everyone else — a loving wife, compassionate nurse, and true friend to so many. Right now, Gretchen is looking at extensive inpatient and outpatient therapy to help her regain her strength, mobility, speech, and independence. While her insurance is covering part of the costs, there are significant gaps that aren’t covered. Her husband is working hard as the sole provider right now, juggling his job while staying by her side every step of the way. The unexpected medical bills and ongoing therapy expenses are creating a heavy financial burden on the family during this already overwhelming time. Every donation will go directly toward uncovered medical expenses, therapy sessions, rehabilitation support, and helping the family stay on their feet so Gretchen can focus completely on her healing — without the added stress of finances.
