Hello, I am Michelle Brown Standridge and my friend Gretchen, who is a fabulous gardener and artist, has been diagnosed with cervical cancer and is currently undergoing daily treatments of chemotherapy and radiation. Gretchen is driving about 125 miles round trip for each treatment, 5 days a week, for the next 4-6 weeks. Currently, the cost of gas alone for the trips is costing $25 per day. She really could use some assistance with these expenses as funds are limited and she is unable to work due to the treatment and her health. Before starting her treatment, Gretchen painted me a beautiful picture for my garden and I love it dearly. She has many more flowers to plant and pictures to paint.
