Greighan's Medical Recovery
Donation protected
On Sunday, July 13th, 2025, my mom (as many of you know, Donna) got a call from my brother’s phone, with his friend saying he fell out of a tree. At first, we thought it was a joke as they are teens and joke, but nonetheless, we rushed over to him at the park. When we saw him, he was in so much pain. He didn’t remember climbing or even falling from the tree. We called 911 to come as he was already moved, but it’s best we don’t move him anymore just in case. He was rushed to Hasbro Hospital where tests were done and found out my brother, Greighan, had in fact broken his back. Neuro wanted to do emergency surgery first thing in the morning the next day so it does not worsen. Surgery was a success on July 14, 2025. Greighan had rods and screws placed in his back and thankfully is not paralyzed. He won’t be able to participate in his school’s cross country or tennis team this coming year due to the severity of his injury. He has a very long road to recovery to focus on, and that comes with a financial burden for my mom. She is self-employed and because he is a fall risk, she has to stay with him 24/7, so she cannot work.
I’m making this GoFundMe to help with that financial burden put on my mom so she can not stress so much on bills or medical bills that will be coming in because it will not all be covered under their insurance. If you know my mom, she is the most giving and helpful person you could ever meet.
If you can do me the favor and even share this to make it out there, I’ll be grateful.
Thank you so, so much,
Caitlin
