Support Greg's Recovery Post-Transplant
Hello Everyone.
Greg is a fun, outgoing, and caring community member. As a real estate professional, his passion is working with first-time home buyers in overcoming the jitters and unknowns within the process.
For those who are unaware, Greg works as a 1099 on commission with no benefits. On September 27, 2024, Hurricane Helene ravaged Asheville and our surrounding area. The media was able to capture the devastation to lives lost, physical property, roads, and infrastructures.
What is not well-known is the devastating medical impacts that Hurricane Helene brought to Greg, our family, and other individuals who did not perish in the storm. With no access to water, clean sewer, or electricity, Greg's health plummeted in a matter of weeks, ultimately requiring him to have a double lung transplant to save his life.
Greg remains in the hospital 7 months after Hurricane Helene. Greg has received prayers, cards, and care from immediate family members and friends. Greg's financial deficit is piling up with a critical need for financial support.
I am reaching out to friends, neighbors, and the public to ask you to contribute to his medical bills of over $1 million dollars. Yes, over $1 million dollars. Every dollar will assist him in the recovery process. Greg is only 56 and has a lot of life left in him.
I am requesting a fraction ($300k) of what his bills have amounted to so he can get a jumpstart on the pile of bills once he is released from the hospital. If you desire to give more, we thank you. My focus is for him to heal so that he will eventually get back to living, working, and serving others.
Thank you for your contributions. Greg is a terrific human, husband, and friend who will make the most of life.
