Support Greg's Recovery from Severe Injuries
Donation protected
On November 14th, Greg was loading his cattle pot (trailer) in Sterling, Colorado. One of the last cows to be loaded got him down, and he was severely injured. He shattered all the ribs on his right side, three on the left, leading to two punctured lungs, one of which collapsed. After making his way to safety, he lay outside for several hours before being found. Greg was taken to Sterling Hospital via ambulance and later flown to Greeley, where he was admitted to the ICU for several days. Due to internal bleeding, they had to put a drainage tube in his chest. They performed surgery, repairing 9 of his shattered ribs on the right side, plating them so they can rebuild/regrow. Greg remains in Greeley Hospital, and his wife (Marla) is trying to get him transported to Madonna Rehabilitation Center in Lincoln when he is ready to finish his rehab journey. Greg is the family's main income provider, which includes two young boys (ages 7 & 8). Marla has been going back and forth from North Platte to Greeley but needs to be at home to work as much as possible.
Expenses that they need help with are medical and transportation bills (current and pending).
