Support Greg's Fight Against Budd Chiari Syndrome
Donation protected
On May 27,2024, my father, Greg, was working out of state and fell ill. After returning home, he was admitted to the local hospital where he went under CT scans, MRIs, and extensive blood work. After tests were performed, he was diagnosed with Budd–Chiari syndrome, which is an exceedingly rare condition, affecting one in a million adults. The condition is caused by occlusion of the hepatic veins due to a blood clot that drain the liver. It affects one out of a million people. In Greg’s case, this caused liver failure.
Many people know Greg as a funny family-oriented guy who values God, family, and career. He enjoys camping, the outdoors and spending time with his family. A few things that many people may not know about Greg – He served his country honorably with the U.S Army, was a foster parent for 17 years - taking in countless kids, as well as being a loving husband, father, and grandfather and always being someone, they could run to and has been supporting a family since he was 22 years old. He did anything to make sure his family did not go without.
Greg is now waiting on a liver transplant and is currently undergoing many tests. As many people know this has had a budgetary impact on my family between the commute to the hospital, hotel stays and buying food to remain by Greg’s side. Greg has a long journey ahead and we are thankful for any generous donations if you feel inclined.
