Support Gregory Rives in His Battle with Cancer

Hi, my name is Jarred Rives, and I'm starting this GoFundMe for my father, Gregory C Rives, who was recently diagnosed with terminal cancer.

On April 8th, 2025, our world was turned upside down when my 57-year-old father was diagnosed with abdominal and colorectal stage 4 cancer. This came as a complete shock to all of us—especially considering how healthy and active he has been his entire life.

He’s currently facing one tumor—one in his large intestine with 40% of his small intestine already removed. This tumor is causing severe pain and blockage, making it difficult for him to eat or drink. His medical team has already performed one surgery, but unfortunately, the cancer has spread too extensively throughout his intestines and colon for further treatment to be effective. He has been given approximately one year to live.

This news has been heartbreaking for our family, and I’m doing everything I can to help make this difficult time a little easier for him. My goal is to ease as much of the financial and emotional stress as possible so he can focus on spending quality time with loved ones.
