Hello, my name is Yanci. I am the daughter of Gregorio Hernandez and we are from El Salvador. My dad is 56 years old and in 2002, he had open heart surgery due to the left side of his heart dying. At the time, they were able to put a patch on the area and throughout the years, he’s been able to live a normal life, but of course, with medications.

In recent years, his heart condition has weakened, therefore making his day-to-day life very hard. Over four weeks ago, his heart stopped several times. CPR and shocks were performed for a very long time until he was conscious again. Right now, he is in the ICU on the heart transplant list in a very high status, waiting for a Heart Transplant. We are hoping he is able to receive a heart as soon as possible since he is living with the help of machines.
