Support Greg Wright's Battle Against Leukemia
Donation protected
Hi All,
We’re reaching out to you today because our family needs your support. As most of you know, Greg was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer – T-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia – in May 2024. Since his diagnosis, Greg has undergone multiple rounds of inpatient chemotherapy and outpatient treatments.
The toughest part of his journey is still ahead: a stem cell transplant scheduled for September 2024. This procedure is complex and will require over a month in the hospital, including a round of intense chemotherapy, followed by several months of outpatient care and recovery. Once Greg is discharged from the hospital, he will need 24/7 caregiver support and medical treatments three times per week through early 2025. Despite the risks and lengthy recovery, this procedure gives Greg the best chance at long-term survival.
As we head into the transplant, our family is facing a new dynamic. Brett will need to work less to help with Greg’s care. It will also not be possible for Greg to work during the transplant process and recovery. We are setting up this GoFundMe campaign to help cover the costs of our childcare, Greg’s caregiver support, travel to and from treatments, and daily living expenses and bills until we are both able to resume working full-time.
Please don’t feel obligated to contribute, but know that we are deeply grateful for all the support. Even if you are unable to contribute, your thoughts and well-wishes mean the world to us.
We are extremely grateful for your kindness and generosity. Your help allows our family to focus on Greg’s health and recovery without the added worry of financial stress.
Thank you for being a part of this journey with us.
