Support Greg Thull's Stroke Recovery Journey

Dear Friends, Family, and Community:

I’m reaching out on behalf of my sister Abbey and her husband Greg Thull who are going through the most difficult time of their lives.

On August 29th while enjoying a Rockies baseball game in Denver with friends, Greg suffered a thalamic stroke. Just when we thought he was on the road to recovery, less than 24 hours after returning home, he experienced a second stroke, this time much worse. Greg had a hemorrhagic stroke on the night of 9/3/2025.
Greg is now in the ICU in Kearney at Good Samaritan Hospital, where he has undergone a right frontal ventriculostomy and has an intracranial pressure monitor in place. He cannot move the right side of his body, cannot speak, but can open his eyes! His condition is extremely serious, and the medical team is doing all they can in a very quiet, low-stimulation environment to aid his recovery. His hospital stay is expected to be around 6 weeks.

Greg and Abbey have five children, three of whom still live at home. As you can imagine, the emotional and financial toll of this medical emergency is overwhelming.

We are asking for your thoughts, prayers, and any contribution you may be able to give to support Abbey and her family during this time. Every dollar helps with medical bills, travel, lost income, and the many unexpected expenses that come with such a crisis.

If you prefer to send a card or note of encouragement, you can mail it directly to their home at:

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your love and support.

With gratitude,
