Greg is a loving father, partner, proud grandfather, and friend whose life changed suddenly in September 2025 when he was diagnosed with aggressive Stage 4 adenocarcinoma. Since that day, Greg has been bravely fighting this devastating illness with strength and determination, supported by his three devoted children, his loving partner, and his young grandson who absolutely adores him.

Despite undergoing treatment and doing everything he can to keep fighting, the cancer has unfortunately continued to progress and has now spread to Greg’s spine. This has begun to affect his mobility and daily comfort, and doctors have warned that these challenges are likely to increase in the months ahead.

Greg’s greatest wish right now is simple: to spend meaningful time with the people he loves most.

To focus on treatment and time with his family, Greg has had to retire early. While British Columbia’s healthcare system provides many critical services, there are still many essential costs that are not covered, and those expenses are quickly becoming overwhelming.

Greg’s home is not currently equipped to support the mobility aids he may soon need, such as walkers or a wheelchair. Modifications to make his home accessible and safe are necessary, but unfortunately far beyond what he can afford on his pension alone.
