Greg Davis was diagnosed with cancer in late 2021. What started as a mass in his mouth (tongue cancer) later metastasized to his lymph nodes, etc. He is currently undergoing radiation; chemotherapy seems likely as well. Eating, drinking, and talking are a challenge. A feeding tube is likely, too. His health status is further complicated by cardiac issues and swelling/stiffness in his legs (he's had several joint replacements). Greg's daughters will provide updates as they become available.

One of Greg's granddaughters (Adrienne) once said, "When people get to know me, they just really like me." The same could be said for Greg. If you don't like Greg, it's probably you, not him. ;-) A beloved figure at Murphy's Irish Pub for many years, Greg served many a Guinness and, sometimes, the score of whatever game was on. Friends from high school, the Fish Market, and beyond have fond memories of the affable guy full of random trivia and a love for the Stones (and Springsteen!) Greg (AKA Bunny) has many sides: collector of rock-n-roll memorabilia, the dude who thinks "this lane ends" signs are not meant for him, and the loving husband, dad, and grandpa who's been known to sign every greeting card with the words "have a ball!"

Several friends and family members have helped with lodging related to treatment at OU health. We've started this fundraising effort to help with other expenses related to treatment and recovery. Thank you for your care and concern.
