I am Greg Gordon's sister, Gina. My brother Greg is one of the strongest people I know, with a heart full of love and a spirit that never gives up. In April 2022, life hit him with a challenge no one should face—he was diagnosed with rectal and liver cancer. Since then, he has endured chemotherapy, two major surgeries, and radiation, all while trying to stay positive and keep his hope alive.

Unfortunately, the cancer has returned with a vengeance. It has now spread to his lungs, adrenal glands, liver, thyroid, and bones, and his most recent scans revealed a mass pressing on his spine. On top of this, Greg had a serious heart episode with atrial fibrillation, requiring his heart to be shocked, which led to congestive heart failure.

Through it all, Greg continues to fight every day. I am so proud of my brother and the strength his has shown us through the past three years. However, the emotional and physical toll is immense—and the financial burden is overwhelming. Three weeks ago he was admitted to Barnes Hospital in St. Louis where it was determined that the treatment was no longer effective and he was brought home on hospice. We want him to be able to focus on spending precious time with family, not worry about expenses.
